Publishing expert Sharon Stockhausen joins the list of speakers at the May 15-16, 2011 Marketing With A Book Summit in Minneapolis.

Sharron holds a Masters degree in management and administration, is a Certified Professional Contracts Manager, and is a member of the National Speakers Association, the Minnesota Chapter of the National Speakers Association, the Midwest Independent Publishers Association, and Women of Words.

A professional speaker and trainer since 1976, Sharron owns Stockhausen Ink, a writing/editing/training firm; is CEO of Expert Publishing, Inc., a book publishing company; is an award winning author and publisher; a former syndicated newspaper columnist (14 years); a former magazine columnist (3 years); and an adjunct professor teaching business, strategic management, and writing, at the undergraduate level and managerial communications at the graduate level. She’s taught at Hamline (graduate school of management), Metropolitan State University (College of Management—graduate and undergraduate), Minneapolis College, and Anoka-Ramsey College. She’s also taught management in Taipei, Taiwan. Currently, she’s teaching at Metropolitan State and Anoka-Ramsey.

Sharron has authored, co-authored, or ghost-written more than a dozen books and edited more than 120 books. She began her writing career in 1976 writing for periodicals. Her work has been published in Woman’s World Weekly, Mpls-St.Paul magazine, Hearst’s Victoria magazine, and Stressfree Living magazine. Books include Why I am Blessed to Have You as a Friend, Sales and Marketing: Proven Techniques for the 21st Century, Turning Black and White into Gray, 20 Things Every Successful Writer Knows.

She’s listed in Who’s Who and various other biographical references. In October 2002, she stopped her dual career life and retired after 26 years negotiating and administering contracts for the Department of Defense.

Her clients include Honeywell, Inc., 3M, Allina Health System, Knutson Mortgage Company, Combined Financial Group, Saint Paul Convention and Visitors Bureau, Clemson University, State of Minnesota, Anoka County, and Consumer Credit Counseling as well as authors across the US and Canada.
