SAN DIEGO (Jan. 21, 2000) – Henry DeVries will serve as president in 2000 of the Computer and Electronics Marketing Association (CEMA), San Diego’s leading high-tech marketing organization.

CEMA members decided to bring DeVries back for another year as president. One of the original founders of CEMA, DeVries was the president of the association in 1985 and has held various positions on the board of directors during the past 15 years.

DeVries is president of his own public relations firm, Henry DeVries/Communications, which specializes in e-commerce and technology clients. Active in the community, DeVries also serves on the board of directors of the Aztec Athletic Association, the UCSD Alumni Association, and is a member of the San Diego Convention and Visitors Bureau Community Relations Committee.

CEMA is a forum specifically for key individuals involved with the marketing of high-tech products in San Diego.
